Doweys have been established in County Armagh since 1936 in the town of Lurgan in which the buckfast tonic wine is a popular alcoholic drink. Doweys are Master Butchers specialising in artisan food, boning and hand made on the premises including award winning sausages and burgers, Steaks, pies and pasty’s, coleslaw and salads and ready meals.
Simon Dowey has continued to expand and develop the business including new products and our own production facilities. These popular pasties have been in development and recently launched with great success down to the quality lean and tender beef marinated in buckfast and slow cooked with secret ingredients to make a rich onion gravy encased in a light puff pastry.
A lurgan twist on the Cornish pasty seasoned with the well known “Lurgan Champagne”.
Due to the fragile nature of the product these are unsuitable to ship baked but we are currently looking into shipping orders unbaked
We are also capable of fulfilling bigger orders.
