Thick Pork Sausages
Our award winning pork sausagemeat hand filled into a thicker casing for the oven.
We take a lot of pride in our sausage trade. We have won many many competitions. However there are few competitions for THICK PORK SAUSAGES! We've been making sausages since 1936 so we must be doing something right! Our thick pork get many reactions from customers .... usually amazement then that turns to " how do you cook those ones".
Our recommendation is ... slowly at a lower temperature for a lot longer. It takes time to cook them right through to the centre but the wait is worth while! We strongly recommend them for the BBQ but with a word of advice please first partially cook them indoors in the oven or slowly under the grill or on the pan. Finish them on the BBQ to give them the " Charcoal Flavour". It is important to cook them the whole way through to the centre and not to cremate them on the outside but raw in the centre !!!
